Vaya, pues al final resulta que no te estaban tomando el pelo en tu departamento con lo de Santa Lucía [artículo en español]... Yo estaba completamente convencido de que era una novatada!!

So finally it seems they were not (only/totally/completely, don't know which applys) pulling your leg the other day in your department... They actually celebrate Santa Lucia like that in Sweden [English article]. I was sure it was some kind of initiation joke!!
